Bains Lodge has two sets of thatched accomodation, the ones that were newly renovated are proper and up to date with maintenance, there are the ones that are not renovated and the thatch is not maintained, there is massive dust, people that slept in those unmaintained thached rooms including myself were not happy, some were asthmatic and the dust aggrevated their sinuses, which is not good, can the management please consider maintenance and serving of air-conditioning in chalet 9 please.

A great place with an enticing experience. Very safe and secure with helpful and friendly staff. I would come back anyday my balance is positive ????????????

Advertised as having restaurants on site but children not allowed except outside, and was raining during our visit. Had to drive into town twice for food. Accomodation good but refrigerator or aircondotioner made a really loud racket, disturbed our sleep.

Had to find my room in the dark with no escort, then the door struggled to unlock, but then couldn't lock! Heater didn't work! Tec came out, didn't introduce himself, I had to smell what he is there for! couldn't resolve my issues, didn't even offer me a other room! Won't return there again!

Unfortunately the advertising and what we have received is two different pitchers.Road to wooden cabin is very very bad condition, the shower is blocked and the shower spray head is not funct,the sliding door can not open you have to make use of force, the microwave is making sparks when starting up,and had to fumigate for cockroadges. The music outside was so noisy up to 00h200 the next morning. I often stay over in Bloemfontein but this wil not be my next choice.

Clean rooms, small open plan kitchen and a 3/4 bathroom (shower, toilet and basin), a nearby bar to grab a drink, shops are a little farther but still within a few minutes walking distance
