We went on a flower-viewing trip with a group of friends this past week and made a one-night booking at 50 Shades of Hay. From the first email enquiry, I was so impressed with owner Michele’s warmth and information. She really went out of her way to check details of what our group needed and even gave us the opportunity to choose our own rooms. Her communication was honest and detailed especially in terms of catering options. We were not geared up to having a braai for supper on this trip so we had an early supper en route and this made the entire experience relaxed and easy. Michele kept in contact with us by WhatsApp on the day of arrival and was standing outside to greet us and show us around when we arrived. We were thrilled to see personalised name tags on each of our doors. What a great personal touch! The pub / games room was the perfect venue for our evening together before heading off to bed in luxurious rooms with queen size beds, and squeaky clean bathrooms. Well done Michele and family for providing such a great place for our over-night stop! Thank you.
