Went on Sunday, only one person working, I think he was one of the owners, his name was Ahmed. Most unhelpful and unfriendly. More worried about watching a series on his phone. Food was OK, but enjoyed it better at their other branch.

If you want to eat at Andalousse, drive past this branch in Woodstock and go straight to the one in Sea Point. Sea point Andalousse has a waiter to start with. This branch is not worth going to.
Andalousse Woodstock is really disappointing, lacking with service, 1 star for service, at least he got the order, hardly any communication from the person there.
Disappointed at this branch. The place looks dark, needs some TLC, tables and menus don't look cleaned. The lights weren't put on. We sat anyways.
One person behind the counter who is also the waiter, he was not helpful or friendly.
There was no placemats, food ordered was brought out incomplete, starter without flatbread, we had to ask for spoons, extra plates and ask for our tea after all food was already brought out. Food was okay, but not as well presented as Sea Point. Wish I went there instead. Road parking is available outside,Woodstock area has many people loitering outside, even though police station is opposite, I ddnt feel Safe there. Employee was more interested in watching movies on his laptop than checking on us. Won't go back again.

Still skeptical as we never went in, there was only two people working, the cashier is the waiter and the cook. Totally reminds me of that restaurant in setpoint once where the waiter was a taxi gaatjie too ????.

The other thing was that it was so looked up, meaning the ambiance wasn't anything to talk about. You might as well have a sense of "eating behind bars".

I haven't tasted the food, hopefully I will be able to look past the visual disaster and do a retake on this review.

Authentic Moroccan place. We had a Tajine and a couscous. The plates are huge, had to take some back home. Would loved to have more cumin / ras el hanout added to the dish, was a bit too neutral for my taste. The harissa made up a lot for it.

Awesome vibe!
The food was absolutely delicious and hit all the right places in my heart.
Excellent service from all the waiters and the owner himself personally saw to our satisfaction.
Interestingly it had many vegetarian options to choose from.
I would recommend this place to anyone in need of some chilled down times with friends over some Moroccan mint teaor even an intimate date night. Loved it!

A hidden gem. Laid-back, casual, unique. Affordable and authentic food in sizeable portions. Definitely must try the Moroccan tea with a selection of biscuits. The half portion is more than enough. Defs will come back again.

The service is excellent, the crew is friendly, and the food is very tasty. But the place is small and simple there is no luxurious decorations here for those looking for. The only annoying thing is the smells of cooking where there is no ventilation in the place which makes it hang clothes
