The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Parking is a bit of a challenge as it's on a hill and the road is a bit narrow.
The breakfast is good and the owner and staff very friendly.
Pleasant stay with sea views.

Lovely, helpful host. Honestly bar for some beverages and everything is walking distance away. Beautiful sunsets and such relaxing time.

This is the best possible place to stay in gordons bay and at a fair price. we made so many great memories here! Kerry and her staff are all gems! We felt perfectly welcome, very safe, and quite relaxed! super close to the beach and views that stun! Do it!

Stayed here with family for 4 days and I could not have picked a better place to stay in Gordon's Bay. The staff were so friendly, the breakfast food had good variety and was delicious and the rooms were spacious and the beds comfort was unreal. If I was to ever come back to Gordon's Bay again, I would definitely come here again. Could not recommend it more.

It was the worse night of our life. I booked via booking.com site and we selected Berg en Zee Guesthouse for it showed alarm system on the booking.com site. I also asked for a special parking indoor and not in the street. It was never offered to me by the host. That night we woke up with an intruder next to our bed. We were exposed and I started screaming as this guy was next to my bed. He was busy grabbing my partners laptop bag. He managed to chase him out the door but we later realised that he stole my expensive apple laptop and my back up disks with all my business work on it. We specially booked this accommodation due to the safety regulations that was on the booking.com site, namely the alarm system. We later realised that the intruder was watching us when we unpacked and that he was planning it all along. The host was shocking. I screamed and was very traumatised as the intruder could have attacked us if it was not for the quick thinking of my partner. We made a police report and the host even admitted to us the next day that she could see the footprints up the side of the wall where the intruder climbed up. In the middle of the night we tried to find the guy outside the building with no luck and realised more windows was left open so it was a clear indication that there was no alarm system activated as stated on the booking.com site. The host just told me that If I do not give her a slip for the laptop she cannot claim. However it was a gift to me and I have lost over 5 years of business work. Later on she just left it and stopped talking to us. Then I tried to put in a complaint with booking.com. They were useless. They had the one consultant after the other trying to sound sympathetic as they were all trained to lie. They told me they need the police report. I sent photos and police report to them. They would simply just reply and say they are sorry. My latest email from them just said sort it out with the guest house. Basically we paid for an expensive night to stay in a high crime area in Gordons bay. We selected the more expensive Guest house BERG EN ZEE due to the alarm facilities. So far I have experienced great loss with no feedback from booking.com or Berg en Zee Guesthouse. I would not recommend that place to anyone... They do not care..

very nice place, excellent breakfast, airconed rooms, friendly and helpfull staff. Definitely visit again.
