Appointment system is of no use. My helper waits for 3-6 hours to be seen. The staff who answer the phone are also very abrupt and rude. Government facility yes, but that doesn't mean one can't communicate properly.

The appointment system is redundant.

I optimistically took my daughter here for her 6-week vaccination. Arrived timeously for her appointment but ended up waiting a good 2 hours with an increasingly hungry and irritable new born. Also, there were no obvious emergencies to explain the delays.

I know this is a resource limited government facility where expectations ought not to be too high, but this was a bad experience considering the misleading appointment system.

It is no surprise that the clinic seems so quiet at first impression... it is because people probably don't want to return. Deceptive strategy to keep numbers down!

The old coloured lady who answers the phone is extremely rude. I called to make an appointment for my covid test. She asked me where I was staying and when I said Claremont asked why is everyone from Claremont. She then told me that they are busy and there's another testing center down the road. I told her I went and it was R550. She then said, "And so? You want to come here for free stuff?" I had to try and convince her where I am staying and that I'm not working for her to make the appointment. It's a government facility and I have a right to access health care services and I'm being told to go somewhere else and pay for it.

The main sister (mature coloured woman) at the clinic is extremely rude. She speaks to people disrespectfully and makes a point of shouting at whomever she can. This is a place where you work with people and one should have those people skills and care. She is equally rude on the phone. The rest of the staff are very kind but this particular sister lowers the standard and comfort of the place purely by her rudeness.

The old colored woman at reception is soooooo rude, she firstly asked me why I'm bringing a sick child to clinic at 11, when I tell her as soon as I knew that my son was sick after he woke up we called you and came here. Now discussions about how fresh my son is for a sick person started circulating the clinic. The clinic sister who attended to us said he is not sick and that if he was sick he would be like this and that. Now I'm sitting with a nose dripping kid, and a sore throat with high temperature because these women who are supposed to attend to our health dont care or are rather too occupied about time and how the sick should act. So annoying!

The nurses there do not care about people and have no way to talk to patients, the appointment system was meant to help and improve the service, but they just dont care. The front desk is great and can treat all people with same respect, so as the counselor. Bad service from the nurses.
