The gift experience: I was very careful to book through them because there is so much scam companies out there. I've spent three days researching them. It is very difficult to pay only R6 000, all in advance, without knowing whether the company is legit or not. But Claire and her team were so helpful and the whole process went well. But the actual experience were not at all what I expected: The Supercars. I booked this event for Hubby's 30th Birthday. We were so excited but throughout the day our excitement turned into much disappointment. I grew up around cars. My father and bother build their own cars and race them together. I was so excited. But the whole day were more about making money than value for money or experience. My SD Card had no Micro SD card in so I had no video's of me driving the Lamborghini. I did not know this so I went to the Photo's and Video desk, stood in another long line. I said I want the full package (R1000). They've searched for photos and video's. Saw that I only have one photo of me in the car and no video. The lady said: So, should I move the photo's over to the SD card then you can pay (Again R1000). I was like??? Ummm... SO, I have to pay like R1000 or R599 for ONE Photo?? (I am almost sure if I did not put up a scence, they would have left me to pay). She said she will speak to her manager. Came back and offerd me ONE lap in the Audi R8. So, I driven the R8. Came back, stood again in a long line at the Photo's and Video's, and the clock on my video did not work. So, you can not see how fast I've driven. They did not take a photo of me and the whole car, they just took a photo of me in the car, you can not see what car it is. Then, they take the photo's all with one setting, so hubby's photo in the White Lamborghini was so overexposed. (I wish I could have posted the photo's here). So, in total, I've paid R1000 for 3 of the same photo's of me in the car, 8 other photo's of me driving the one car and a video of less than 2 minutes. The quality of the video was terrible. We wend skydiving four years ago with much better video quality. You car not allowed to take a picture with hubby and the car. You have to "stand behind the line" in order not to be "run over." So, if you want to take a photo with hubby IN the car, you are not allowed. By the way, you've paid A LOT of money for the experience but you are treated like you are just a number. Anyway, when you want a picture, you stand behind the line and have to take a picture with hubby next to the car. It's not the same thing: Standing next to the car and being IN the car, different story. I could see, and spoke to, a lot of upset people and at the end of the day, you pay a lot of money. They just doing their job. They don't realise that you've saved up since last year. You've been planning for months to make his birthday a special day. It's just a money game. They try to get as much people to drive on the track that day, they don't really car about the expierence. I have much more to complain about, but I'll just say: I DO NOT recommend the Supercar driving expierence. At the end of the day you pay around R9 000 - R10 000 just to feel frustrated.
