Very fortunate to have a Schoon so close to home. The food and coffee is stunning, the staff is friendly. I always come here to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Love this place and highly recommend!

It was a pleasant experience. We only had coffee but it was served by a friendly waitress. We sat outside and it was nice to see the world go by. I believe they also bake wonderful bread.

Tasted their Sourdough Bread this morning. Bought it at Butcher and Son.

Delicious coffee, delicious breakfast and you have redeemed yourself, the carrot cake was amazing, so moist! Schoon is an absolute must for early morning breakfast and coffee.

Very very good coffee on a very small table. The baked goodies are super nice.

I have never been able to find a Ciabata for sale. Always sold out. They must he super nice.

Nice atmosphere but staff member we had is thicker than a concrete wall and sandwiches are such a rip off. The bread was great but R70 for a slither of ham and half a teaspoon of supposed "Gruyere" cheese is such a skimp.

We arrived during loadshedding and couldn't tell if the shop was open or not. When we did walk in, staff were sitting infront of the fire and said they couldn't help us with anything on the menu. I found this very strange and tried to ask for a few items, as it seemed that you could order pastries, but ended up leaving as staff were very unenthusiastic and just kept blaming loadshedding as to why they couldn't serve us.

I understand loadshedding is an issue that is challenging for small businesses, but perhaps there could be something that staff can offer people who come through specially to try your cafe, and happen to arrive during loadshedding.
