This is not a review of the beach as such but rather of the tidal pool, if one can call it that. It is way too shallow, about 50cm deep at best and very rocky. Unsuitable for swimming currently, so if you would like to swim, don't bother trying it. We left disappointed because there are such lovely tidal pools all around Cape Town.

Insanely busy and limited parking. Lots of fishermen along the coast so it makes you a little anxious that you might end up with a hook in your foot. But the water is warm, which is great. And the waves are somewhat relaxed.

Awesome beach, really clean and no funny smells. N'ice soft swirl was epic! Would definitely visit again.

The beach is so refreshing in the mornings, one of my favourite beaches in the city.
