Thank you so much . I walked into your salon yesterday feeling like a mop and left feeling like a Queen. Tiley took such much time to comfort and reassure me that it will be beautiful. Trust me my hair looks amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heat. Highly recommend Talking Heads

On the 5th of October 2021, I went to Talking Heads to have my roots touched up. I am a natural brunette, but I have been blonde for a couple of years. Taylor bleached my roots. The bleached was applied in a rush and unnecessarily overlapped previously bleached hair. Sectioning was also not done correctly which resulted in patchiness. The volume of bleach was also so strong that it burned painful blisters on my scalp which took weeks to heal. After this, botox treatment was applied which caused even more damage. The damage and breakage that I experienced is like nothing I have ever experienced before throughout my transition from brunette to blonde. The more time went by, the more hair would break off. I now have short chunks of hair in between my long hair. I had to have a fringe cut to disguise the short pieces around my face. After I had raised my concerns, all I was offered was a free additional botox treatment. I was not refunded, not even partially. I recently went to a new salon and they were shocked as to how much damage was done. I felt like it was time to share my feelings on this matter. I now have abandoned my blonde journey as I fear to do any more damage. This is unacceptable. I now have to wait years for those pieces to grow and to get my hair in a healthy state again.

Thank you guys for the outstanding service, I was unable to come in earlier but you made a provision for me and you made it happen. On both occasions, they have gone out to make a spot available to me. Heinrich your work is unbelievable, after walking in depressed, I walked our happier than ever, you are so amazing and talented and you did an outstanding job, and Elissa, thank you so much for assisting and always cheering me up with your kindness and positive energy, you too are a gem. Good job to you both and thank you to the Talking Heads Team for never letting me down. My new stylists pretty much forever!

Nostalgic much...The service, passion and sheer creativity took me back to those hair salons tucked away in town; willing to try any style/colour you request (pinterest image) but not shying away from advising what would suit you best (Dean, you are amazing!). This establishment is filled with years of experience as is evidenced by each snip snip of hairstrand and my final hairdo! The cruelty free/au natural products (fresh organic smell sans peroxide), fun and friendly staff, view of Strand beach...it doesn't get better than this????My crown is beautiful and i really feel like a new person, much needed after this horrid year (2020). I am inlove????; definitely found my new hair salon.

Took grandma with for a cut and blow...at 84yrs old she is quite finicky about her hair. She just loved the outcome, thanks Marietta (hope i got your name right, if not please forgive)! You did an awesome job????, so attentive and kind towards an older soul...she feels good and looks good????
