Really good bar food meal! Pizza might be the best we’ve had in SA. Taster was just right (I wish they had DP hero grapefruit !!!) my Philly cheese steak was delicious. My daughter’s cheeseburger equally delicious. Three meals and a beer tasting for under 400 rand — nice!

One of my go-to after work drinks places. The staff are friendly and helpful, always offering their recommendations when asked. There are also a good selection of specials. The burgers are delicious and the truffle fries are delectable!

The Taproom was somewhere in between great and awesome. The service was great. I really don't have anything to complain about. Besides the fact that mother nature ruled the weather, it was beautiful even whilst sitting in the rain. I enjoyed my meal although I think that the nachos meal base sauce needs a change. Maybe a basic nachos sauce would do. However I do think the portion was worth the price and the vibe was chilled. Maybe because I was there to early. But I would definitely recommend the Taproom and maybe go back there some time.

Went here for a post work beer with some friends and ended up having some of their food too.

Beers were delicious, as expected. I ordered the First Light (Pale Ale) and later had their new Dead Reckoning (Juicy IPA). Both were fantastic. One of my friends ordered the wine on tap and was happy with both quality and quantity.

Ordered food, the Taproom cheeseburger and the East Coast Hake with roasted cauliflower gratin, beer cheese and friend onion.

The fried onions were really well made, light and crispy as was the batter on the fish which was also full of flavour.

The Taproom cheeseburger was well made, a thick beef patty with various sauces, cheese and gherkin. It was packed with flavour. As for the rosemary fries on the side, they were deliciously well-made and the dipping sauces provided were a really nice touch.

Desserts were also delicious.

It's worth noting that on the bill 10% is automatically added. I did not notice this until my SnapScan was prompting me to pay a lower amount. It's then I noticed that 10% is added by default, even though we were only a table of 3.

Enjoy the stunning view of the mountains, while sipping on one of their large selection of beers. We enjoyed a great ginger ale. For nibbles, we can recommend the cheese balls and spicy chicken wings. A warm friendly vibe.
