This place was the highlight from all our meals during our visit in Cape Town. Everything was fantastic!
From the ambience, to the food, to the service… It was such a phenomenal experience, we had to visit twice (Both times consistently delicious)!
I would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting Cape Town. I was so comfortable knowing the food is fully Halaal and serving non alcoholic mocktails.
The owner (The Butcher’s Wife) came to check on us if everything was going well.
The steaks were juicy and tasty, so were the burgers. Definitely my first craving spot when I visit Cape Town once again!

Dined at Th Butcher’s Wife while our visit to Cape Town. The restaurant ambience trendy/cosy, great food presentation, great quantity and very friendly service.The restaurant is located a bit far from the city centre but worth the drive and also the restaurant doesn’t make reservations therefore, get there early and get your table or name on the waiting list. They have great variety of dishes but more famous because of its steaks. Highly recommend it when in Capetown.

The food was delicious and the portion sizes were good. It has a lovely and cosy atmosphere. There's not a lot of seating and they don't take reservations on a Sunday so we arrived earlier to get a seat for lunch for our group of 17. There's limited parking outside in the road. Expect to pay more though with average prices R250 - R300 per person for mains (steak) and a milkshake.

Loved the food and the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We had the steak and mix grill with salad and a summer cooler. The waiting period was longer then expected and we had to make reservations thrice in a week to get a table.

First time here. I was had enjoyed the starters and main course. Food was really delicious. The dessert was abit of a let down. I want to come back to try their breakfast.

Love this place! Delicious food, great sized portions! Value for money, you'll definitely go back for more. Friendly staff and good service

Loved it! Service was great and the food was better! I had cheesy fillet steak with mushroom sauce, medium to well done and it was cooked perfectly... definitely worth the wait!
