Certainly worth going. Tickets are R600 rands for non South African citizens so that's about $40 a piece. It's definitely worth the price. No wait.

You'd better be sure that when they cancal your tour due to weather. That you get your rebook time correct. Very unhelpful and unfriendly to try and reschedule you. Management had to get involved. We were a group with special needs children in which 2 had become ill, causing our delay. Private hospital documents had to be produced to prove it. Nice museum but the island tour I could have done without...especially the unhelpful workers at the front desk. Awful! Just could care less!

Absolutely loved the tour to Robben Island. We had excellent bus tour guide, Craig and Derick Basson our guide of the prison shared his story with us. Definitely worth booking.

Nice boat trip but Robben island is in a terrible condition. You can't believe there is still people living on the island. Look like a ghost town. The only place that is still in good condition is the inside of prison cells. Interesting tour.

Friendly staff, get there early...recommendations: buy the Robben Island tickets the day before. Get the 45min before departure time. I recommend the 08h30 schedule cause it is less crowded, everyone and everything is still fresh

Social distancing and Covid protocol were definitely not observed whilst waiting in line for the ferry to Robben Island. We also had to wait for over half an hour, all cramped up together during a pandemic.
