What an unassuming little place. The decor and setting is pub like, but the food is worthy of the best 5 star restaurants. Service was very good.

Very good food. Very nice atmosphere. Child friendly. Awesome prices and specials. The only complaint I have was to receive my steak and chips on a wooden plate. That really didn't look good at all. Why not using the normal white plate as usually? The steak sauce leaked all over the table from the wooden plate.

Ate the Gwarra Gwarra steak and draughts were on special on Tuesday. Good service. Very happy thanks Blackwoods!

Good food at very reasonable prices. The place was extremely busy (which is always a good indication of what to expect) and we got a table next to the kiddies play area which unfortunately for us was very loud with all the screaming kids.

The food is super good, well priced and generous. They have great drink specials otherwise the drinks are the going rate but not exorbitant. There is a big screen and a generator. Never had an issue with any of the staff at all. They've always been helpful. Will continue to support them.

Their food quality has diminished some. And they do not understand how to make a rare steak. I've ordered steak there a few times, always asked for rare, always got medium to well done. And the sauces you can order are very expensive for the quality and quantity you get

A great place to take the family for a Sunday lunch or to experience the smell of braai and the sound of rugby on the big screen. They have a nice kids play area too. Most importantly, the food was delicious! We really enjoy it everytime we go.
