Was an enjoyable route, pity about the litter you would see along the way. An increase of visible directional markers would help those that are first timers.

Crown this volunteer. Opportunity in hand going to an outdoor show nearby I couldn't miss trying Valhalla parkrun. An enthusiastic bunch of volunteers make what may be an ordinary course that much more interesting. One volunteer stood protecting a Crowned Lapwing’s eggs as runners passed by despite much protest by the lapwing. The course is relatively flat, very well marked out with many rocks painted white with arrows on, and zigzags across open veld so that no part of the course is duplicated. Where confusion may exist, volunteers are well placed to guide. Unlike many park runs the finish is a little walk away from the start. Plenty of parking but sadly the only toilet facilities “aren't open today” according to the caretaker. Summer may bring on a new look here. I spotted a low growing plant flowering showing early signs of spring and with it more park-runners.

I enjoyed,I just don't like dogs sniffing at me I wish the owners must just take care of their dogs, anyways I had a good run ????????

Nice parkrun. Enough parking. Some areas that the parkrun goes past are a bit dodge.

Quite a flat parkrun in and around the parks. It's a single loop. The start is very open but there are single tracks in some areas making it difficult to pass. There is safe fenced off parking with a security guard. When I went there was a vetkoek stall at the start and a pancake stall at the end. Shoprite sponsored cold still water which was really nice!

This should be looked after way better than what it is now.

Nice and easy walk for all beginners! It was a bit dusty, but hey we have had no rain so summer will be less dusty! Good place to start your park run career....
