Decided to book for lunch on a wet Saturday.
We were well received, even though they could not find the booking my daughter had made earlier. Nicely spaced out restaurant located in a boutique hotel. Beautiful Koi in a nice pond. Variety of dishes we had were good, unfortunately my seafood pasta had been left a bit too long under the warming lamps and arrived all thickened up. Good quality prawn, my son enjoyed his fillet and onion rings. Wife enjoyed her kingklip and prawn combo.Mussels were not the best, sauce was good. Nice cocktail menu, the Lindt dessert consisted of 3 chocolate balls wrapped in a phylo pastry and deep fried, served with a shot of amarula and ice cream which arrived half melted, obviously been plated and left out too long for service. Tiramisu needs some work, never had the strong coffee flavour. Good service. Nicely presented meals. Well worth a revisit to try some of the other dishes.
