Love the place. Stunning view of the ocean and for the hungry, try the burgers tasty and delicious. I have to back for the rest of the menu as that looked delicious as well. I could not post the video of the view. You have to experience it.

Snagged a high table – one cannot eat without looking at the ocean. Sailboat artwork in bright colors on the wall decorated the inside. Hein decided on the Cordon Bleu Schnitzel. A cheese garlic roll to share and I fancied onion rings with cheese sauce. My eyes popped out!!!! The onion rings were only R35, but it WAS A HUGE PORTION!!!!!! It was absolutely smashing!!!! Hein’s schnitzel was little bit dry, but chips were great. The (not as small as in Joburg) cheese roll was yum. Couldn’t finish all the food – enjoyed a cappuccino and Rock shandy before we relaxed for a few minutes on a bench outside.

The food is amazing! The staff was not too helpful or friendly. However, we got a different waiter Belinda. She was absolutely amazing. Very friendly, quick and has a very welcoming attitude. If not for Belinda I would not have given it 5 stars. Great beers on tap - Hogaarden and Leffe. The music and ambiance are amazing. Nice view of the ocean. Could sit there for hours. Highly recommended.

This place is a amazing. Over the years Hops has been the most consistent venue to have a few drinks and wind down. Sometimes they are a bit busy for my liking but their service somehow is still good! The view is spectacular - here we are enjoying a coffee in the morning before work while watching the dolphins.

Good food. Friendly service. Reasonably priced. Pizzas have a micro thin crispy base. Ample parking with great views of the beach and sunrise over the horizon. Only complaint would be that the seating is not the greatest especially if youre planning a morning out there.
