I had just a brief tour of the entrance to and public spaces of the lodge but was impressed by the positive, helpful and friendly staff members I met at the reception area, Trophy bar and restaurant.
The decor is simultaneously rustic, plush and relaxing, and the blue light in the pool is delightfully easy on the eye in the darkness of the KwaZulu-Natal 6.00 pm dusk!
I would certainly enjoy a stay there but can never warrant spending R9 000 on a "weekend special"!

Absolutely beautiful, the beach is not full. The food at the restaurant is affordable and value for money, the monkeys are a problem though but everything else was perfect

Had a nasty fall, on a loose carpet in restaurant. No Management on site. Bill incorrect because waitress couldn't find correct items on system?
So disappointing

Zimbali is very safe, a bit far from the city, it's about 45min away, the lodge staff very friendly bunch of fellows

Dont miss the opportunity to stay here. The hospitality is amazing, the rooms similar to 5 star Mauritian accomodation and the service exeptional. Go visit the beach and pools and play some golf - I am going to do this on a annual visit

Absolutely pathetic service, This is officially the worst 5 star hotel I've ever stayed at. You have to phone reception For a shuttle but reception never answers the phone and when I ask, they simply said that they were busy. The toilets looks like they were built in 1948. Best part is I could get to any management, they are completely useless. This is realistic a 2star hotel
Guys pay a little more somewhere else

Everything is excellent accept how they treat the employees those people are working like slaves everyone has their own responsibility people have rights you force people to work on their off days I don't think that is fair taking advantage of people because they need work this should be taken legal action
