Staff were friendly and accommodating, and location was perfect. Having the restaurant only a few steps away from the room was a nice touch as well. Check in process was smooth, however, we were given a different room than described on the listing. Rooms were old and smelled of mildew, but clean. Unfortunately, there had been a heavy rainstorm on the last evening of our stay causing water leaking from our bathroom shower light fixture and hallway, and our power to go out for the remainder of our stay. Because it was very late and our last night we decided to notify staff of the issue when checking out. We reached out to management as well after checking out to hopefully assist with accommodation considering we had no power the morning of checkout. Unfortunately nothing could be done after checking out since we did not notify management the night of the incident, even though it would have been more inconvenient to move rooms in the middle of the night during a rainstorm. Overall, this place was okay. The three stars are for the location and kindness of the employees. This establishment needs to update their rooms and perform routine maintenance to prevent issues like this from happening to other guests.
