I'm surprised that you consider a 3 star review to be good. Maybe I should elaborate. I purchased a box of mangoes and all were rotten, a punnet of cling peaches and all were mushy..... Please refer to my pics that I will upload together with my receipt. Needless to say, it all unfortunately went into the bin..... Fahim

I actually asked the biltong to be very thinly cut because it's for an 88yr lady with few teeth.
The photos show the different cutting i receive for the same request. One being a butcher and the other a conniseur

Fresh vegetables and fruit available. Meat /mutton and beef and pork as well as chicken. Under renovations now 23 September 2022. Don't know how long its going to take.

Love the freshness and the variety of the fresh foods. Always neat and clean. Bakery is always stocked with delicious goodies. Only one snag, just do not like the open cake (self service ) concept in the bakery. Have witnessed many customers openly touching or picking up cakes then leaving them back down and picking up another. This is definitely unsanitary. A total put off. People, these are days of Pandemic. Stop with the ignorance and disgusting ways !! If Food lovers bakery staff could perhaps monitor or even help with serving, that would be much appreciated by alot of customers.

Best place to shop at. I bought whole tomatoes tinned. Especially good if you are trying to build up your prepper pantry. The tin tomatoes were 4 for R50 and can be used till 31/08/23. Need to stock up on essentials then this is a good place to shop.

The restaurant staff and food is amazing. The fresh fruit and vegetables are delicious. The store always allows me to take a trolley out because of arthritis my legs cannot go far on their own anymore. Nothing bad to report.
