Terrible kitchen service, they burned my prawn and calamari curry badly and didn't care to ask that I change my order.
The portion of my Mom's steak and veg order had 1 teaspoon of spinach, they also made the steaks extremely hard after ordering medium. All this happened and WE had to ask the manager to come out and sort it out but he was mute!

We waited OVER AN HOUR for Food! My kid's fish and chips order had the coldest chips. What a traumatic dining experience.

I had to tell him to remove the 2 meals from my bill, I paid for the curry because at that point I was frustrated with the whole place.

I tipped the waiter because he was so embarrassed at his teams service. I can't believe the kitchen staff was somewhat drunk on new years.

I will NEVER go to that establishment. Please do yourself a favour, don't bother! Rather visit neighbouring restaurants on those premises.

The worst! How do you run out of vegetables and serve a teaspoon portion of spinach? You burn food and serve it knowingly? You serve the hardest steaks (rump and sirloin) after the customers requested medium meat? That's WILD!

Absolutely fantastic experience all round. The food was amazing, both flavorful and served hot and fresh. We had a male waiter who was incredible, friendly and very knowledgeable regarding the menu and specials. He definitely made our experience a pleasant one. This was the first time we went there and we will definitely be going back!

Full disclosure: I suspect I was visiting Julio's after they had a fire and had to relocate and downsize near their original site. That being said though:
1) The signage is near non-existent and the sole sign denoting the restaurant would only be visible to those already sitting at the restaurant already, or to passing ships....that is it. Barely anyone knew where it was also and from the parking lot it is actually impossible to see it from any angle. FYI: it is in a corner of the wharf past John Dorey's and past Spur.
2) The selection: While the menu was a fold out with several pages worth of items, drinks were not among them and they did not actually have everything on there in stock
3) Drinks: they only had a single beer on top and even getting the basics for the kids was proving challenging.
4) The location: while on the wharf and quite scenic, the seating was borderline claustrophobic. Very few seats available in their new location and not a single child seat for my nephew and niece.

That being said though, the food was really quite good. Unfortunately the prawns looked a little anorexic, but were quite tasty. Service took a while, but given the size of our table (6 Adults, 2 kids) and how full the restaurant was it was understandable. But I would advise against arriving hungry as it does take a little while.

On the whole, I think I might return again when they get back to their former venue size and staff compliment. The current place feels like a stop gap measure

I really craved the deliciousness of Julios prawns and chicken during the lockdown and today I had my 1st opportunity to visit. Sorry Julios, you did not live up to my previous visits. Chicken liver and mussel pot as starters were awful. Prawns were undercooked. Prawn calamari combo was more like a kiddies portion. Chicken peri peri was the saving grace but not worth a return visit. Service was very disorganised. A very underwhelming experience.

Fantastic evening.
Bessy the waitress was really great!
Food was phenomenal.
The creamy sauce on the Trinchada was so tasty, the mussle pot was really great too.
Main meals half chicken and prawn peri peri and Jalapeño Steak was delicious.
Thank you for a wonderful birthday evening and fantastic service and beautiful food.

First time to this particular branch

Sadly not a single beer on tap which was a disappointment as there are taps visible at the bar.

Other than that food was slightly above par nothing to really rant and rave about to be honest. Food was prepared exceptionally fast and was brought to us steaming which is always a plus in my book.

I have to give credit to the location and the atmosphere as there are other restaurants there and so it has a nice vibe to it.
