If I could rate this hospital lower than 1 star I would. How PATHETIC and what an ordeal, the most unpleasant experience ever. The staff don't even start working at 8, they do when they feel they want to (today was an hour late). There is NO ORDER what so ever. Saying I'm dissapointed going there for the 1st time would be an understatement. I went out fuming, that place makes my blood boil. Disgusted!!!!!

This hospital has given me the worst experience ever. I had an emergency and they made me wait from 09h30 to 16h00. This is very wrong what is the point of an emergency ward when they only attend emergencies after long waiting hours.

If you have an emergency, be prepared to wait at least six to eight hours before you see a doctor. They're severely understaffed.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE services rendered. As taxpayers we expect to be treated with dignity by South African Government health care workers yet we receive treatment not even fit for dogs. The staff carry on as if they don't get a salary every month. As a health care worker you take an oath, the staff as King Dinizulu Hospital are the pits!!

Started from the clinic (ANC) , all the sisters were very nice except the receptionist. I didn't like the way she was shouting at expecting mothers.

Moved to ward J all the sisters were also nice, sister G, sister Nomthi. but there was this one sister, sister Xulu I think she's got a mental problem because there's no way a sister in her right state of mind can shout and swear pregnant women who are in labour like that.
The doctors were also very nice, Dr Kalal and Dr Ngcongo.

Moved to Labour ward, that timeI was in so much pain and I was handed to nurse Khuzwayo, what a nurse!!!
I really believe she's got a calling in nursing. God bless that woman ????????
While in Labour ward I was treated by Dr Mwande who also performed my C-section also a very good doctor my wound is healing perfectly ????????

Moved to ward K, I can't remember the names but it was three gentlemen, one with glasses and one Indian lady. Excellent team!!! Excellent service!!!

The service is perfect at KGCH. A very clean hospital.
Keep up the good work!!!

I have nothing but great things to say about this hospital. I gave birth to my son in 2013 and I was treated like royalty. I had to be admitted because my son was prematurely and he was under weight. At the same I was going through some sort of depression but the nurses and doctors were very supportive and understanding. This year I was pregnant and I had a still baby. I have never experienced such love and support from a public facility before. From the doctors, nurses and the mortuary staff, they were all very supportive. They showed me kindness and love and for that I will forever be grateful. Please keep up the good work.

NB: I was in ward E during both my pragnancies
