Truly awesome, flavourful food! Excellent service as well.

We've never left Lupa disappointed.

Most recently, I had the wood oven-roasted Lamb Shanks. Our waiter told us that they're roasted for between 3 to 4 hours. The meat was absolutely tender and the Parmesan fries were an eye-opener in how tasty they were.

Lupa Westville is my favorite restaurant in Durban. The food and service is consistently good.

The decor is inviting and cozy and it’s a great place for a date, special dinner/lunch or just to catch up with some friends. The aromas from the kitchen and warm lighting with the low chatter of patrons translate to a charming atmosphere.

On my last visit I had a traditional beef burger, the quality of ingredients really came through in the flavor…Perfect. The chicken caprese was ordered off the specials menu. It was delightful and should definitely be added to the standard menu. It was good to have a chicken dish that’s original and packed with an interesting but delicious combination of flavour.

The cheesecake Dessert was heavenly.

Be sure to try the gnocchi from Lupa Westville, it’s the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. The “Lupa” with gnocchi is a favorite. The pizzas are also excellent. A good variety of cocktails and wines are available on the drinks menu.

Perfectly prepared food and a good menu to choose from , though drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic are a bit too diluted

That seafood pasta is phenomenal! This place was amazing, best place to spend my first night in Durban!

Consistently amazing flavours on all dishes, food specials are well thought out and flavoured very well.
2021 update: unfortunately dropping a star because not for the first time a takeaway pizza box had the wrong pizza in it. The boxes do have labels to tick for the pizza contained inside, use them. The first time it happened I had to return to the restaurant. On this most recent occasion a staff member realized the mistake and met me in the parking before I left with the correct pizza.
2022 update: service levels continue to drop. Wait staff attentiveness is dropping sharply. Dishes are at times brought out cold. Vegetarian dish came served with chicken. Order food for takeaway, get a call that it is ready, I arrived to discover the order was not even started. I was met with complete apathy. Service is only moving in one direction.

Great atmosphere and plenty of seating both inside and outside for all occasions.

Perfect ambience, friendly and professional staff, delicious food and quite clean and fresh bathrooms. We had crumbed chicken with mushroom sauce and zucchini fries, the portion is quite generous that we ended up taking it away. Quite rich food at a very affordable price. The waiter was quite friendly. There’s an option to seat inside or outside. Family friendly restaurant. I highly recommend them.
