Dennis the owner is very considerate and friendly, he went above and beyond to make sure I was assisted and I truly appreciated that. Jennifer, the kindest house keeper, is very helpful. If we need something, no matter how late or early, she is always there. Pretty views of the city lights at night, very close to all the major attractions and restaurants. Pastel Guesthouse is warm, homely, simple and with cute antique furniture. Very clean, quiet and quaint!

Bad condition overall.... felt unsafe, noisy guests till late hours, was also treated like I'm a criminal due too the owner not understanding booking system from lekkerslaap. Being from the hospitality industry as myself I found that really bad.

Uncomfortable parking and beds.
Locks on the doors are breaking off.
Shower is leaking.
Bathroom doesn't smell nice.
Didn't feel safe.

Close to all restaurants and shops and all the lovely things to do in Durban. It's got great views over the city and and is in a secure end of the road. The rooms are big and in suite bathrooms. Kitchen is great for cooking some meals with the necessities. Jennifer who looks after the place is true blessing and makes sure you are comfortable in every way.

Truth be told...I had to ask for my sheets to be changed because they were too dirty from the day I slept there. The rooms are old and dirty, the kitchen is small like a wardrobe and definitely not what was shown to me before booking the place. The place is quiet, the only thing I loved.

Lovely experience,my family I enjoyed our stay there its close to everything and the lady that is assisting there she's more like a mother now so caring my kids even call her by name even after we left "Lovely Jennifer "Thank you to the owner for his considerate attitude .minor things that need His attention though
