We were a family of 10, and could not have asked for a better home from home experience. The place was so clean and comfortable. The hostess, Shelley couldn't do enough for us and made our stay even more spectacular. The gardens and swimming pool were awesome. We spent lovely times around the pool. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Overall a most enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend it to everyone.

Booked my accommodation with Shirley the host almost 2 weeks ago. I asked for a specific room which was confirmed by Shirley. Upon my arrival today from Jhb I have learned the room was not available. No communication was done to me prior explaining why?. Absolutely disappointing service. Shirley was not even empathic towards this situation..

Great rooms, fantastic facilities and a great location. The manager, Amanda couldn't have been more accommodating towards us. Even though it's not on the menu, the omelette is a must for anyone who stays here!!

Very nice place with very friendly people. The rooms are good and clean. The breakfast is fine and fresh prepared for you in the kitchen.

The place is on a nice location close to the beach where you can eat and close to a big shopping mall.

Very nice place to stay. Nice selection for breakfasts however i would recommend putting double beds in the units rather than 2 singles.

My stay at Sylvan Grove was a 10/10, the hospitality from the Owner was fantastic, she was so kind and made me feel so welcome.

This is a guest house worth staying at in Umhlanga.
