Our stay was painfully underwhelming considering this establishment was once a favourite.
The room was dusty, has a bad paint job and taking a mere shower was close to impossible with the water being sprayed across the bathroom.
We were also not given a room key and subsequently locked out of our room.

Loved my stay here, extremely therapeutic experience. Room was homely and cozy. Love the rain shower vibes and the decor. The Staff are quick effectively efficient, very polite and professional.
The food was amazing and well presented , equally unique atmosphere. Amazing honey cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Extremely diet friendly????????
Neighborhood dosen't feel kosher but once on the hotel grounds you'll be pleasantly surprised. 24 hr security and secure parking.
Recommended the place for a couple or group getaway as the rooms with a patio have lovely atmosphere.

Was a special even which was great. Sadly the kitchen was unable to cope. The coffee machine was out of order and the drinks took forever to come. Please do something about the parking. This used to be a top place in 2011...please bring it back

Such an amazing setting, didn't even know this place existed up until recently. What a stunning place, it's within walking distance to Florida Road and close to shops, restaurants and public transport around Durban. Freedom Café is located on the property and definitely worth a try!

What an amazing place. Having just moved to South Africa, the concierge was a great spot to relax and find our feet in South Africa. The rooms are spacious, wonderfully decorated and the food and drink on offer is excellent. Miko and the rest of the team made us feel very at home while we settled in SA and provided us with assistance in finding local tax offices, car dealerships as well as local tourist recommendations. I'd highly recommend staying here to anyone.

One of my favs absolute value for money. Well trained staff and close to all amenities. Love the little veranda and your spacious showers. Im very fussy and you guys always deliver no matter what the hour that i called you guys were patient.
