Had a booking for the night however when getting there the lady that was supposed to open for us wasn't there and we were asked to look for another accomodation by the owner. He was very friendly and sincerely sorry but it was quite disappointing especially not living in Durban.

We were refunded immediately.

This guesthouse is perfect for a family of four. Each apartment (only 4) is very clean with 2 large rooms (main bedroom with a king-size bed and children's room with 2 single bed. The kitchen is well equipped and also has a washing machine and dryer. The lounge and dinning area is open plan and very comfortable in design. We prefer the upstairs apartments. This guesthouse is situated on Shutter Rd just off Helen Joseph Street. It is situated within walking distance to all eat outs on Helen Joseph, such as the famous Cane Cutters takeaway, woolworths Food and Davonport shopping centre. The guesthouse provides breakfast at a separate cost..we prepare our own breakfast(self catering). The only negative is the relentless noise at night from a nearby 'restaurant'. However, the noise levels have pleasantly reduced since my our first visit (stayed here 3 times this year already). The host Bruce is very obliging and the cleaners are very friendly.. They do not disturb you and clean the rooms spotlessly everyday. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place. Clean, Friendly Staff and Manager Bruce. Near most entertainment joints. Loving this place, definite return in future. Keep up the good work.

Villa la palma is one of the best resting places where one can repeatedly visit it. It has got advanced facilities that one can enjoy including free Wi-Fi. We really enjoyed with my family.

Experienced and helpful staff. Facilities are clean, well kept and very comfortable. Conveniently situated.
