Very nice gym, clean, tidy, not too full. Doesn’t have power during loadshedding, so plugged in equipment is out of use, but free weights and resistance machines, as well as pool are all operational and available.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. I need to be helped out of the pool and Vuyi is always extremely helpful as she gets me out of the pool. I can recommend Virgin Active, Beacon Bay to anyone.

Few Icg bikes that work well, equipment is aging. Great watt bikes.

It's very annoying to get to gym and there are no treadmills available because half are blocked off. It's not necessary to block two off next to each other. Whole rows of equipment downstairs can't be used. It's totally unnecessary to block 4 bikes in a row. The only elliptical trainer of its kind and some treadmills are blocked off because of 'the roof'. For heavens sake move the dammed things then. There's plenty of space upstairs to space the treadmills but they'd rather block them off. We pay a lot of money for the gym and expect to be able to use the equipment ????

The pool was low for over 2 months and during that time it was closed for maintenance and when it was opened again there was no changes made.
Machines aren’t maintained - The seated row machine grip hurts your hands as the grip is completely worn.
During load shedding the gym is kept open but is not safe as there are no lights and no air-con, this causes condensation which leads to slippery floors and slippery machines resulting to possible injuries. Disappointed with the gym as I am paying a premium rate for non premium quality.
