I also had a really bad SERVICE EXPERIENCE just like the person before me who reviewed your shop. I called afterwards to explain Why I will NOT go back there again because it is about the umpteenth time that I go into that particular shop and I get bad service. Today it was the manager!!! It was just my noble gesture to call and explain. I've bought quite a number of vegan treats over the years but this is enough. I'm done with Health and Living, George. Sorry but that's just the way the gluten free cookie crumbles. ????

After reading your reply, I can clearly see that you are referring to different events and that you can't remember. I walked in, I was helped IMMEDIATELY but with such haste and so abruptly. I had questions about the pea protein product which you seemed irritated by. Secondly, after I called to complain, you offered to give me names of other brands but at that time I was NOT interested as I would have expected that service WHILE I was shopping and spending money in your shop. Yes, I was thať client.

It's a very comprehensive store with lots of interesting products to make for healthier living including cleaning materials, food, alternative medicines etc. I particularly like the raw oat groats and other grains that I use regularly. It's a specialist store but the prices are not abnormally high (but higher than online) and they have very friendly and competent staff.
They also make healthy food for take-away - just a small note of caution, sometimes the containers don't seal all that well so take a cheap old plastic bag just in case.

One would expect a health shop to sell products that are chemical free. I was very disappointed to discover that the henna I bought from this shop contains a harmful chemical called PPD. I only discovered this after doing my own research. A health shop should know their products.

*There were no other Henna brands available, and the shop attendents clearly didn't know anything about the product.

I wish I could say I enjoyed the shopping experience, there was a management type person with a severe attitude u0026 the overall experience was only improved by the really lovely sales assistant.
Otherwise good selection of products.

Lovely shop. Great selection. Friendly staff. Unfortunately most items were well outside of a Covid resulted budget.
