This is an excellent mosque (Masjid) in George City (on N2 highway, in the Garden Route road). The mosque is large and in a good location near the center of George city. The mosque has a very lovely community who welcomes new comers with a big smile. It is very clean and well organized and maintained. It has plenty of useful activities for mosque goers, visitors, and local community. It holds frequent events for both muslims and non-muslims. The mosque has very knowledgable Imam. He has a deep knowledge of Islamic sciences. Also, he recites Quran (the book of God "Allah") very beautifully. If you are a Muslim who lives near (or visiting) the area of George city, come to this Masjid to worship Allah frequently (may Allah accept your good deeds). If you are a non-muslim, please visit this mosque to know more about Islam (the last religon revealed from God "Allah"). The Imam (and staff) of the mosque will be more than happy to welcome you to Islam.

For Friday prayer:
Khutabah: 1:30 PM.
Friday prayer: 1:35 PM.
Note that, there is a lesson starts at 1:15PM on Friday.

The Ladies facilities makes this the ideal salaah stop over for families when traveling on the garden route.

It's easy to get by turning off the N2 at the mall off-ramp then drive toward the town centre and a board will show you which robot to turn to your left

It's a beautiful and huge masjid with a Madrassa area. I love the fact that the ladies have a downstairs area too for the times outside jamaah salaah times, then I just make salaah in the downstairs section.

Alhamdulilah no excuse to miss your salaah. Masjid is neat and clean. Toilets needs some attention though. Kids and beggars can be a real problem at times especially on a jumuah day.

ma sha allah, very well built masjid with all amenities. there is a list of halaal certified restaurants in the masjid as well. may allah reward all those who maintain the masjid and those who built it.
