Hadn't been in quite some time. I ordered the battered Hake u0026chips. Best Hake I've had in years. Melted in my mouth, the batter wasn't greasy or over powering. Hubby had the Hake and Sesame calamari. Really unique dipping sauce - was super tasty. Pudding was also light and tasty. Good service and food came quickly. Will return.

Fantastic food, friendly service by Bongi, relaxing atmosphere and an overall aesthetic pleasure! We ordered fish cakes and bobotie springrolls from the starters. The 3 fish cakes were packed with flavor and the springrolls accompanied by tomato and olive atchar did not disappoint! For mains we had the most succulent parmesan crusted grilled Kingklip with the perfect hint of chilli - the best we’ve ever tasted! Dessert was a tasteful journey of meringue, vanilla, banana and banana custard with grilled pineapple, whilst hubby enjoyed the double layer white and dark chocolate hazelnut tart with orange sorbet! We would give 10 ???? if we could!! Definitely a new favorite ????

Had our engagement celebration there... And what an experience. Amazing food. Great efficient service and an all round great experience.

A good ol' reliable restaurant where you KNOW the food is excellent and the service friendly and efficient.

The seafood is very fresh. The preparation and presentation is excellent.

They have a good selection of wines and other drinks.

What a nice surprise. The restuarant is a bit hidden but we were so glad we found it. Very nice food. Great quality. Friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere.

After my car broke down near George we had to spend two days in George. We went to The Fat Fish for dinner and what an amazing experience! The food was out of this world. I orderedthe fish and calamari and my daughter ordered the mushroom risotto, we share so that we could taste both.. They were delicious. It was very difficult not to go back the second night.
