What a let down! The only good thing about that place is the host. I'm still traumatized by the state of the yard to the rooms inside. Dirty!!!

I don't care if you're renovating or how good your vision for the place is but you don't host people in such an environment. I can still smell the dust in the air on on every surface from the tv to the floors.
False online advertising!!!

The pictures online are deceiving. The room that we were given was filthy and smelly with a very tiny bathroom window. There was a single bed instead of a double bed. The room was not big enough for 2 adults to share, the bathroom is nextdoor. Everything including the curtains was filthy. We actually didn't feel safe and didn't feel that our car was going to be safe either. We left within an hour of being there and booked somewhere else and didn't bother to ask for a refund.

Cheap and cheerful place to stay. For the price, I can't complain, the host Shady was delightful and entertaining, lots of dogs around, walls are very thin, suggest you bring your ear plugs! And watch out for the odd cockroach in the bed! ????

The place is just perfect for that tiny price.
All clean, close to shopping Center.
The sheets were clean, the beds are clean as well as the bath.
The outside still needs improvement but they are working hard on that, I can testimony that because I have been there a few times and everytime I go the is something new. I am always excited to see the improvements.
The place is just perfect for the price.
If you want a 5 ???? Hotel then go and pay Hilton Hotel.... there you get Scandinavian Goose pillows but you pay at least 10 times more.
We are very happy with the service we get each time. .. We miss the dogs... Thank you so much for your warm welcoming. See you soon.

We had booked at another accommodation and they turned us down, it was so late and we called up Cinematic guest house and they were so welcoming and friendly. We stayed for two nights and the rooms were very clean. They have a nice garden space with a braai area and also an entertainment area. I'll recommend this place any day, truly a beautiful, quite place to relax.

Garden looks nice at night, the host is very welcoming as for value of my money definitely No! worse part the dog's keep barking. For R400 you get a cold freezing room with no heater atleast but a heavy blanket as you know ppl have different sense of smells biggest mistake was to open wardrobe with all the crab inside we not going there again we wanted something different and the pictures tell a different story from the eyes see

Cinematic Guest House

Maria was nice over the phone, very welcoming.

But they are NOT Adhering to Any COVID-19 OHS Regulations whatsoever.

1. I was welcomed by some shady guy in spectacles. (Not talkative) anyways I wasn't there to talk either.

2. The hallway was DARK.

3. The small bedroom was COLD, No Heater. One Small Blanket - I had to fold this blanket in half just so I can be warm.

-  it was also untidy - bedding was also not clean it looked like someone had slept there.

Dustbin was not cleared.

4. The Shared bathroom was DIRTY. (I dont even want to go there) No Tissue.

I also do not understand why guests must be subjected to share a bathroom (under these conditions of COVID-19 or any other circumstances)

5. The TV - Remote had one Battery,
NO channels the shady guy ran me some story of it just been installed.

6. THE DOGS KEPT BARKING ALL NIGHT - I COULDN'T SLEEP, worse they were barking outside the room I was in.

(Please get rid of the Dogs, people come here for some peace and quietness)

7. The Sofa which was in the room had Dog hair, so many allergies.

It is really disappointing that you post beautiful pictures online, and find people stranded for the night and thinking that they will find good accommodation but only to find a nightmare,  (False Advertisement)

Now its 06:30 am the shady guy who is supposed to open the Gate for me is not even here,

If this Review had a Zero I would give it a zero.
Very disappointing, also found some weird seeds under the bed, i was terrified
