A nice escape into nature, Apron Strings is a lovely place for the family or for your staff at the end of the year. With a picnic-in-the-park style set-up and a play area for the kids, this is a great cacoon of contentment if you want to escape city life for an hour or two. The food tastes homemade and full of love - not oily and salty, but just right. It's definitely not expensive and the portions are perfect. The staff members are lovely! Just a word of caution, if you're not a lover of cats or dogs, it might not be the place for you.

Absolutely disappointed by the service received today at apron strings. Made a booking for my father's birthday, food came 2 hours after we ordered. Waitress was half the time missing in action. When the Sunday lunch eventually arrived what was promised was not on the plate. Never ever experienced such horrible service in my lifetime. Spoiled the occasion

Very Bad service.
We were a table of 9 people and the food took an our to reach us.
we had to get up to look for the waitress to order our food. while we were eating the owner said we should move to another table because he wanted to set up our table for another booking.

My hubby and I met up with cousins for a light meal.We ordered 2servings of scones.1 death by chocolate cake and a chicken wrap.All food was great.Wow!!!! Loved my scones.Service was fast and friendly.

The worst place I have eaten at, food came at different times, we had to go fetch our own cutlery. Foods orders were mixed up, mushrooms sauce for steak didn't materialize. Prawns still had their veins in. Drink orders were messed. Wasn't greeted when we arrived or left, just asked have u booked. First and last time. Totally disgrace????
