What a gem! Beautiful tranquil setting with lovely outside seating. Rooms are well appointed with very comfortable beds. Kitchenette are well stocked and there is everything you may need. Hosts Kathy and Jack are so welcoming and ensure that everything is 100%. Great hospitality and value for money. On site parking is available. Close to shops and access to airport.
We will be back again. Love it!

Lovely stay with Kath and Jack. Clean, well kitted out rooms - reasonable prices, everything working, everything you need, neat and very comfortable (lovely touches as well - I would share them here, but you'd have to come experience it for yourself!). Oh, and my room (room 2) is also certified as wheelchair accessible too! And then there's the deck .... Soak it in! Thanks guys :)

Price reasonable. Room we had did not have windows in sleeping area so was a bit stuffy. Outside area was below ground level and very boxed in. Water scarcity and collecting water in buckets while showering etc to flush toilets in a tiny bathroom was uncomfortable. Owner was very friendly.

Dempsey’s Guest House provided us with a home from home. Accommodating three generations of our family (Gran, Mom and two teenage girls) for five days, we were warmly welcomed, comfortable and well cared for. The room was perfectly set up for elderly people, with flat walking surfaces, and handholds in the bathroom. We were able to cook meals for ourselves in the compact, well equipped kitchenette. Safe off-street parking in this quiet area added peace of mind, and we enjoyed the space of the large garden. There are ample shops in the neighbourhood, so no shortage of supermarkets to buy supplies. We are happy to recommend Dempsey’s Guest House, and will stay there again if we need to stay overnight in Port Elizabeth.
