I was fortunate to have traveled to Port Elizabeth with our Inter Provincial Indoor Cricket team and we booked into Ingleton Lodge for the week.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with expert professionalism and shown to our rooms. The facilities were of an extremely high quality and the rooms, very neat and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was outstanding and the staff absolutely incredible. We were treated like family for the week that we stayed there. Exceptional service and friendly staff. I'd recommend it very highly

We stayed her while visiting family in Port Elizabeth and could not have made a better choice. Overall, the property was lovely, very clean and the staff made the experience even more enjoyable. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay really wonderful.

This little hidden gem is one of the most amazing guest houses I have ever stayed in. The Home away from home feel is always welcome when traveling and Ingleton Lodge strives in making their guests feel at home. Their staff is amazing and friendly and their rooms are beautiful, clean and very welcoming! Very very secure parking on site as well as it being free of charge, I will never stay any where else in Port Elizabeth! Well done Ingleton Lodge!

Stayed there for the night with wife and brother. This is my thoughts
This is not a Bed and Breakfast. There is no Breakfast! Just wanted to make that important note to out of town customers coming here for first time. Advertising is misleading... And there is more:
There is no parking inside the property. Used street parking on main road.
They don't have credit card facilities. Had to drive to nearest petrol station to get cash.
No bookings allowed in advance. Online booking does NOT secure your rooms. First-come-first-serve was their policy when we arrived.

Conclusion:
Any newcomers visiting PE for first time. There are better options around the area. You pay similar elsewhere but with secure parking, online check-in to secure bookings and better experience

A very clean cosy Bu0026B in Cape Road P.E. Management and staff wearing a positive welcome attitude. Beds comfortable and neat. Breakfast just more homely and normal.

I came all the way from Ghana but i was deceived that there was a free wifi only to be given a backyard accommodation with no wifi connection. That room i believe was meant for the gardener or the cleaner.
Anytime i call the caretaker to express my grievances, she tells me she's coming with explanation and off she leaves without returning to me.
They are simply not honest and i will never recommend such a lodge to anyone.

I'm from Durban. Came to PE for 3 days last month and planned to stay at Ingleton lodge during the time. So experience was not up to par. This is why

The phoned the reception to confirm and asked if there was parking and was told there was. When i got there there was only space for two parking bay but was taken up. They told me I could park next door but must pay R250 for overnight parking. I mean... I could not believe what i have just heard.

When I booked i was quoted R450 per person incl parking. Upon arrival price jumped to R600 due to arriving later than pre-booked. I decided to cancel my stay with them and to book at Radisson Blu 4 star hotel for only R800 a room

I defintely felt mislead upon confirmation by phone. Certain things was not explained. But i should have suspected there was a catch to staying at a accomodation on a budget.

I would not recommend returning to ingleton on next visit to PE.
