We received such a warm welcome here, which extended to an overall outstanding service. Our waitress? Forthcoming with information, and happy to advise whenever we required it. The food? Delicious, fresh, tasty, quick to arrive. The drinks? Flavourful and refreshing. The view? Breathtaking! The vibe? Whole family friendly; not too loud or too dull, it's a nice balance to cater for everyone from grandparents through to toddlers.
Our platter for two was filling, with big portions.
My strawberry + watermelon mocktail ended up being shared amongst us, it was that much!
Definitely recommend this place. 10/10!

My experience at this restaurant was an overall surprisingly pleasant one. I visited PE on a business trip and took a client for supper, the service was great, the food was excellent. However the one thing that stood out for me above all, I left my wallet on the chair next to me and this contained my ID and personal banking cards etc. I had to fly out the next morning and only realized an hour before the flight, i didn't have my wallet. A frantic search later I ended up back at the closed restaurant to give it one last check before I accepted that I will be staying over another day and feared the dreaded Home Affairs. Got to the locked door with staff inside, to my amazement, the staff opened up, knew exactly who I was when I walked in and had my wallet with cash and cards in tact, waiting for me at the front counter. Such good customer service went a mile to restore and cement my trust in humanity. Well done to the management and staff for running a great establishment. I am definitely recommending your restaurant and will be visiting PE very soon. So I reckon I'll see you guys soon as I land. ps. I made it in time for the flight, with just 5 minutes to spare....

I had a good experience in John Dory's Summerstrand @ PE, what a nice place to enjoy seafood at the restaurant, a pleasant place close to the sea, bringing you good service. Optionally, they deliver food if you are hosted at Town Lodge Hotel which is close by. I recommend it. Erik

Great place for a chocolate milkshake! Outside seating has a fantastic sea view and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Menu is not overly complicated and has a little something for everyone without offering too many options. Prices are moderate but managed to maintain the balance between quantity and value for money. The restaurant has a comfortable almost "old school" atmosphere. This place does not pretend to be something it is not and given the choice I will definitely eat here again!

I was served raw chicken, absolutely disgusting, the lighting is so bad in this place you cant even see if your food is done properly, caused me to be sick all night. Will never recommend this place or ever go back here

Worst ever experience
1. Place look terrible
2.Food was horrible
3.Waited more than an Hour for our food
4.The add on prawns were drenchend in "the J.d secrect sauce"which made the wait more dreadful , the calamari was burned oily and black we asked the waiter if this is the standard of service for food - no reply at all!
