What an amazing forest stay. You can hear the birds chirping and breathe in the natural air while spotting cute little birds here and there. Gorgeous lily pond on the property and a very aesthetic lapa for you to wind down and the enjoy wine over a braai. Will definitely go again

Such a beautiful, cozy spot outside PE, but close enough to not be a trek.

If it wasn't for the sound of vehicles on the road below us, we could easily have imagined ourselves somewhere deep in the African bush. The cottage we stayed in was small but very well appointed, with perfect furnishings and linnen, and the deck made a pleasant extention to the living area.
There is also a public area with a comfortable lounge, fully kitted kitchen and large deck with a firepit which we didn't make use of at the time.
Tania, the owner is the perfect host and made us feel very welcome.
We certainly will return and try out one of the orher units and the braai area.

The most unfriendly and unhelpful host. Even some of my friends and family had the same experience. I slept there the night before my wedding. I arrived at 20:00, and was totally lost. It was dark and the number of my room was really small and after wandering around there in the dark for a long time I eventually found my room. I did not have cell phone signal there and my family could not get hold of me. The host refused them entry to the premises. Fortunately there were other guests who opened the gate. The photographer went to the venue before the wedding and he reported to me that the host was very unfriendly and full of nonsense. We felt so unwelcome that me and my daughter went for breakfast at another place. Me and my husband planned to sleep there after the wedding. I however refused and we slept at our own house, more friendly environment. The one star is for the room was clean.

The host Tania was very friendly and her hospitality was excellent. We enjoyed every moment spent at Lauberge????Definitely returning soon!

Stunning setting where it is just so easy to unwind within close proximity to town.
My hosts, Alan and Tania, are welcoming and warm. Highly recommended.
