Great spot for a midday week lunch. Loved the atmosphere as time headed towards lunch and waiters where brillant and seemed onto of all their tables. The food was good and was truly enjoyed. Loved the opportunity to walk through the little stores at the end of lunch and great jewelry and small odds and bobs for sale.

I absolutely love the layout of this restaurant, the black and white images on the exposed brick walls, the expansive ceiling laced with rafters, the mismatched furniture, cutlery and crockery and the way the bar and stage is set up makes me feel like I'm a detective meeting a shady character named 'Mo' for some information. Although the staff was not as friendly as I would have liked, I really enjoyed my spinach omelette. It was huge and filling and fluffy. I'll definitely go again, maybe this time, to experience the night life.

Initially wanted the Sfiziosa but they did not have all the ingredients so I opted for the Corsicano and I was not disappointed. Fresh ingredients were used and the pizza was amazing. I love that they gave us a decent amount of Parmesan on the side. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced and the overall aesthetic of the restaurant is charming u0026 retro. After our meal we moved tables and sat in front of the fire place which had a cosy vibe to it.

The decor and atmosphere is really nice and unique. Unfortunately there aren't any Italian chefs preparing authentic dishes. The kitchen is open to the restaurant and the dishes are prepared in eyesight. Also not authentically made. Pasta dishes are very skimpy on the meat. Pizza dough is rolled out like a pastry.

Unfortunately it's Italian in name only. Incredibly disappointing as the decor, website, their story and photographs on the walls suggests otherwise.

La Dolce Vita for our 10 years wedding anniversary ❤

From the moment our lunch arrived, we were welcomed by the delectable aroma of the pasta.

Gluten free and vegan Ala norna penne pasta. So yummy and mouth-watering.

Followed by a nice cuppa of Rooibos tea.

La Dolce Vita meaning:
[singular] (from Italian) u200ba life of pleasure and expensive things, without any worries.
