I was promised my vacuum cleaner that was a month into its warranty would take 2 weeks to fix- after countless phone call and visits and a TWO AND A HALF month wait I am still waiting. I would not recommend supporting Builders for anyone who is getting something under warranty or expecting any semblance of customer service. Awful.

Broad selection of products, very good the paint dpt. also gardening dpt.
Only problem they can not issue an invoice showing the VAT number of the Client Company.
Never had such a problem with other suppliers.

Smaller than I'm used to, but they have everything I've ever needed. Staff are very helpful and friendly too.

Nice shop,but such slow service and payment syste. There is no quick in and out while your builders are waiting for their material.

So today is a public holiday (26 Dec), I called this morning to enquire if they're open. The number provided is for a call centre, after waiting approximately 5 minutes for an agent to answer my call I hung up.
By chance I passed by during this afternoon and found them open, went in looking for something, spent about 10 minutes deliberating over whats the best door handle to purchase and subsequently wasn't once approached by anyone working for Builders, needless to say, i proceeded to the checkout where I was greeted by a pleasant cashier who was efficient.

I would like to say a big thank you to Geremy Vogel sales manager he went to a great deal of trouble to get me a manual for my Royobi detector. He was marvelous. Helen Mac Naught

For a branch where the staff are always friendly and helpful it is beyond me that no one picks up a phone. I have been on the line for the past 10 minutes from my cellphone. This is unacceptable and means that i must get into my car and drive there to see if they have stock. Ag no man Builders, surely this cant be so. My rating on the instore experience would have been a 5.
