The manager made a point of stopping at our table to welcome us. This was appreciated as it rarely happens at most establishments. Waiters was friendly and efficient and our food and drinks was delivered without a long wait. Ambiance is just great!

We visited on a week day and was wonderful to see how full it was with a steady stream of people coming and going. The hostess was so friendly and efficient and she and the manager happily rearranged seating for parties of more than 4 guests to ensure they made the most of the setting. The wait for our food was quite long but our waitress kept us updated. The food didn’t disappoint either!

Fick's Pool Restaurant is a must visit. The views are unmatched and it is such an awesome setting. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome and went out of their way to make my birthday visit special.
Nollen our waiter was pleasant, and catered to our requests. Food portions are small as it is tapas style, but it was just enough for us. Drinks were delicious and birthday dessert was comped. I'll definitely be visiting again!

Excellent location and great service! The food is average and the portion sizes are small as it is tapas. It is on the pricier side for just tapas and you have to order multiple if you are quite hungry.

We managed to have a taste of most of what was to offer on the menu in the seafood and vegetarian ranges with a bit of space for dessert. The table setup for a big crowd with multiples dishes wasn’t ideal as the tables are quite low and the seating was mainly sofas (this could be due to the place being packed because it was Christmas lunch and I am unsure if this is usually the seating for meals or only drinks)

The overall experience was good and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the location by the tidal pool. There is a slope for assisted wheelchair and pram access to the restaurant.

What a lovely venue in Hermanus for a light lunch, drinks. A tidal pool in the middle with the restaurant on the rocks around it, amphitheater style. So beautiful. We enjoyed mocktails with chicken wings for my partner and calamari for myself and shared a picked beetroot and apple salad.

The atmosphere was very relaxing with an exotic view that you only find in the Cape.
Waiters are very professional and offer good service. The manager have checked in to see if clients are happy.
I enjoyed the cocktails with pleasant side dishes.
Well Done.
Your parking is a little uncomfortable, with parking guards.
Lastly if you are a tourist you will not easily know about this awesome place as there is not clear signs

Spectacular view of the tidal pool. We went there for some day drinking after our rental car broke down. We had some nice plates and cocktails. The very attentive staff and a warming autumn sun elevated our positive experience. Thanks again.
