The rooms need revamping the carpets are old I nearly fell when the carpet in my room tripped me. The food was not up to standard. The food was salty u0026 not appetizing at all. The bathrooms are too far from the bedrooms u0026 my room was so stuffy u0026 they then turned the air con on which supplied cold air the whole night. I'm not sure if I'll visit that place again. It was just a nightmare to sleep with an air on on for the whole night.

I had an unpleasant 7 days stay at the hotel.
The fridge was not working, after reporting a technician came to check and indeed confirmed that it wasn't working and promised to bring another one and never did. Reported again it was never attended to.
The shower cap i found on my first day had a use panty liner inside. I reported only for them to put another shower cap a day after.
Their bathtubs are very small so i opted to use a shower instead, there was no shower curtain and water was splashing all over the place.
The TV remote was not working it was broken with batterries exposed. I reported and they replaced the batteries only to work for 2 minutes then its back to its old ways i reported twice and gave up on watching Tv my entire stay.

Their blankets are super small, you don't find it in the room you have to ask for it, i mean its Joburg it's very cold in winter for such small blankets.
The towels had a strong smell of vinegar.
Friendly staff i cant fault you on that very friendly and efficient. Cleanliness on point.
If you gonna have a kitchen like that atleast put a microwave and something to stir in the tea, there was none.

Really enjoyed my stay, friendly staff... the most amazing view of the JHB CBD, especially at night from the Sky Bar! just around the corner from the Gautrain which made my travelling to and from the hotel an absolute pleasure! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ok the location is central next to Park Station like 800m, but it can feel unsafe as it's in Joburg CBD so wouldn't advise going out at night. The room was big enough I was with my husband and son , so it a separate bedroom then lounge open to the kitchenette and seating area. So they set up a single bed for him in the lounge. Bathroom is old though but it's clean, so is the balcony overlooking the city was on the 12th floor so it had great views. If you want to iron your clothes there's a self service room where you can go and iron . Breakfast was great but I went there before it was ANEW Hotel when it was still Protea and Marriott so I can't say how the standard is now.

Excellent welcome, resturant and reception service.

Your staff are a great asset to the hotel.

I espically enjoyed my chat with a gentleman waiter in the resturant.

Service was mediocre. Went for a function and was difficult to get water on the tables. Waiters were effecient and friendly though
