Ate out at every Indian restaurant in Johannesburg. Had to try out Aroma after reading all the reviews. It didn't disappoint at all. Food was delicious ????. Love the cleanliness. Excellent customer service. Will definitely be visiting again to try out the rest of the vegetarian dishes.

A restaurant that never disappoints, totally worth it! We have visited several times and have taken guests here for a meal too.
The menu is unique compared to other Indian restaurants.
The food also takes time to be made when ordered thus one knows it is prepared well and fresh.
Customer service is great and when ordering via wattsapp, they are so friendly.
Awesome job guys, very impressed with your restaurant and will highly recommend it!!!

The best Indian food I've ever had. Highly recommended. Lamb korma is out of this world. Prices are very fair. Extremely friendly and attentive staff.

You can't go wrong.

We had a sit down lunch. Food was average, the portions were tiny, not enough for 1 person, hardly value for money. There was half a bowl of gravy and a handful of lamb or chicken pieces. The servers were not up to standard, took over an hour to get our meagre portions. When we asked for the status of the food is was always "it's coming" and then it still took another 30 minutes to reach the table. Same thing was told to us when we asked to see the owner. I finally went to the back to speak to her, her attitude was nonchalant about it all, saying "what do you want me to do?".
I was not the only customer complaining, another guy ordered take out and he waited over 90 minutes for his order.
Not recommended whatsoever...

A warm ambience. Excellent service with mouth watering delicious meals. Food is freshly prepared and just divine. I celebrated my birthday here and it was a special experience creating new memories.

Excellent food - tasty and fresh! The best Indian food I’ve had! Hygienic and spotless and definitely worth a few more visits including a takeaway!! Thank you Aroma!!
