I had a great stay at the Cherry Lodge. It's a beautiful property and the owners are fantastic. The staff do a very good job keeping everything clean and in order. They have different type of rooms, all well equipped. There are wild bunnies, a gen with her chicks walking around the whole property.

Alex and Andrea are the best hosts you could ever wish to have. They welcomed me as if I was a friend and were incredibly helpful and decent throughout my stay. I will not hesitate in going back ! They exceed in offering everything you need and much more compared to most I believe in the area. I was so comfortable and felt very much at ease and at home. The room was perfect for me : very comfortable bed, great shower and plenty of space but with lots of character too. The breakfast / restaurant area with views to the lovely lush green grass and swimming pool is terrific. I wholeheartedly recommend Cherry Lodge to anyone and will definitely be back !!!

It was clean and comfortable. Food was made to order and very tasty. When you come, trying the lamb shank dinner, is a must. Certainly a 5* meal. Plus ducks and bunnies to greet you in the morning. D.J.

Great potential location but the place is run down and needs taking care of. I was unhappy with my stay there.

My friends and I stayed there this weekend. The place was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. Andrea was amazing, very friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She even went as far as to buying halal meat for a friend of mine. The place is very close to malls, Monte casino, restaurants and bars. We are definitely going back and will always recommend them to anyone. Thank you for all that you guys did and for making our trip memorable.

Our stay at Cherry Country Lodge was such a wonderful adventure.We stayed in a six sleeper self catering unit called the Stables.We liked the set up of the unit ! A very cozy lounge,lovely kitchen, two beautiful bedrooms with en suit bathroom.When we arrived there we thought for our first night we needed to go out for one too many drinks.But there was no need for us to go out of the lodge because they also have a great pub next to their pool.For us Cherry Country Lodge was more like one stop destination.We had so much fun that first night having drinks at the pub and watching a football match while some of our friends were swimming.The hospitality there was one of a kind that we wished to prolong our stay.The overall service was excellent.Thank you Cherry Lodge.

Neat, cozy, serene and even more is what cherry country lodge reminds me of. I and my team stayed here in 2014 when we came the Eco marathon competition in South Africa. Andrea and her husband were very nice to us and we had a wonderful time t the lodge.

It feels like home away from home ag the lodge. Everything you need to be comfortable outside your home is available here. I would recommend here to anyone that seek to have a wonderful stay in Johannesburg. Danke Andrea
