Nice average city park. As always, relatively fine during the day, but like with all Johannesburg parks, avoid at night. Trees with shady areas but not much else to offer, except open spaces for kids and dogs. Has on busy main thoroughfare on one side and can be a worry for younger children. Bonus has a garage shop with fast food places on the far end if you are prepared to walk. Not the biggest or best but will do if you wanna take a walk.

Decent park if you want to take tour dog for a quick walk or if you need a relaxed place with some fresh air. Park isnt usually very busy. Some litter here and there

Lovely, open, well maintained park for solo walks or with your dogs.

The park has potential. It's full of trees, has benches and relative space for a park that is in a densely built up area. Jhb City Parks can do more though. Since there's a Family friendly park at Rooitou and a dog park at Loerie, this one can be turned into an outdoor fitness park.

Disappointing how the visitors litter.

It’s peaceful and quiet here

BUT

THIS PARK IS VERY SKETCHY
Once you’re here, make sure that your phone is out of site.
Don’t show anything valuable
If you’re not visiting the actual park, then get to where you want to go ASAP because THERE ARE PEOPLE WATCHING YOU.
Do not talk to more than 2 people, in the park’s vicinity, at the same time (unless you know them) because these could be thieves who are trying to get you to a secluded place across the road (Cnr. Jim Fouché u0026 Ouhout) where they’ll rob you.
