Their hospitality is perfect. They served amazing breakfasts. Good option especially for UNISA students.

I would give Sooffah Guesthouse a 1 star if the staff weren't so friendly. My room was very old and dirty. There were marks and chipped paint on the walls, the carpet was dirty and a had a burn mark on it. The duvet cover had a huge stain on it, and upon receiving a replacement it too had another stain. The ceiling light had no cover and the ceiling fan dusty. The bar fridge's freezer compartment was not cold enough to keep food frozen. The blinds were damaged. If you want to use ANY equipment besides a kettle, mug, and tea spoon, you would have to go outside and then into the communal kitchen (which can make you feel unsafe). If you can, rather spend an extra R100 per day to stay in a cleaner, more well equipped accommodation. The staff are friendly and helpful, which is it's only upside.

Was an amazing stay and the hosts made me feel welcome from the day I got there and always made a special effort in whatever they did. The food was awesome and always interesting! Would highly recommend it it anyone in joburg looking for a home away from home.

Very hospitable. Very comfortable. Brilliant facilities. Quaint and charming. Staff made you feel at ease. Delicious food. Safe and secure. Relaxed. It's on a busy hustle-and-bustle road, but once inside, you step into escape-from-the-rat-race tranquility. Good for the soul.

Sooffah Guesthouse caters for everyone young and old. It has an absolutely stunning pool and it's set in an Amazing Garden. The sound of the birds in the morning allows you to wake up with a smile on your face and very well rested. The food is absolutely delicious.

Hi weneva u up in jhb..u need to put ur head down...Sooffah is the place...the owners husband and wife..go out of their way to make ur stay unforgettable...and best prices too...place itself very neat..clean there u will find peace and tranquility as well..staff very friendly too and very safe

Awesome place. Enjoyed my stay. Host really made us feel comfortable. Neat rooms. Near shops. Will definetly be back.
