The Spar offers a wide variety of local and German products. It also boasts a fantastic coffee shop, Bean There, which is packed on week-ends. The variety of breads u0026 pastries took my breathe away. It also has a small health section, great variety of fruit u0026 vegetables

Public Bathroom are not accessible in that complex I was directed to downstairs by the basement parking with horrible disgusting bathrooms/staff changing rooms.very very Dirty unclosable doors NO toilet paper. Even if it's for staff I feel it should be in better condition than what it is.
I wonder whether they ever do HEALTHY And SAFETY inspection. Coze the same staff from that filthy Bathrooms come and perform Customer service upstairs.

Very very bad service. Timing written for store is 8am to 8pm. Reached there 5 minutes to 8pm and security guard didn't let me enter the spar and was totally rude. Closed the door on my face and went away. Whats the purpose of writing closing time 8pm when u cant let customer enter before that even..

Disgraceful behaviour from Caucasian Spar staff member in uniform in the middle of the parking lot!!!!

I was walking into Spar Melville with my daughter yesterday 14/09/22 and witnessed a staff member standing outside in the parking making derogatory hand gestures at people. I was horrified that he was behaving in such a manner. I live close by and stop at that specific Spar on my way home from work regularly. After that incident I'm not sure I would want to as I had my daughter asking me what he was doing and refused to explain the filth he was was acting out! Completely unprofessional.

The customer service here is excellent. A lady staff assisted me with locating products. One of the cashiers tagged Vuyisiwa gave highly professional service. She deserves a 5 star. This Spar is a small, family friendly store which has so much in it's cozy space.

I love Spar. Maybe because I find more at their stores both in Lagos and Johannesburg or because they position more healthy food options to the view. Not sure. But by virtue of living closer to a Spar, we shall part no more hopefully!
