UPDATE:
Apparently trying restaurants in your area and having a bad experience at 2 restaurants you didn't know are part of the same business because your purchases are 3 month's apart, is tantamount to a conspiracy against the owner personally. Surprised to find out there's a link because I couldn't even recall the name of the Dowerglen place, I went through my inbox notifications history and confirmed that the review of the other place was on July 10th - for a hot meal special. We still go to the Dowerglen shopping centre regularly and we have never bothered trying that branch's food again. A testament to the quality of our one and only experience there that is echoed by other people's reviews on Google for the same restaurant.
A statement like "I believe this is a strategy of some sort to run my business down" affords me far more time, foresight, attention to detail that I consider unimportant (like a restaurant name from an Uber order where the app keeps track of places you've ordered from previously so you don't have to), and energy for petty and useless vendettas that I simply don't have the luxury of time to engage in. And if I WAS engaging in a personal campaign against the owner's businesses I surely have left a scathing review on Uber Eats and every other platform that allows reviews of eateries - something people with an agenda frequently do.
If I was to engage in long-term fixations I can assure you it would not be over a food outlet. There are far more interesting and rewarding past times to engage in and I would argue that reading Leviticus as an atheist would be one of them...
Jumping to conspiratorial conclusions immediately about negative reviews smacks of ignorance, a penchant for needless drama and disdainful dismissal of valid reviews that borders on arrogance.
I eye-rolled SO hard at the business owner's response I rebooted...
The reality is that the sushi I received was bland and poorly made - to sum it up. The owner does not taste-test each meal going out the door and there is a difference between looking at an item while it is prepared, and being the person having to eat it.
Reviews on Uber Eats do not match up with reviews on Google. Reading other reviews on Google reveals that I am not alone in my disappointment with our experiences.
Thank you to Ronaldo for your dismissive response that forced me to investigate this further, take the time to write out a lengthy rebuttal and to make a clear mental note of where to never order from again. If there was any chance of me giving Sushimi another go, that ship has sailed.

I ordered on Uber Eats where there were good reviews for this place. I should have checked the Google reviews before ordering.
I ordered the veg platter with an additional item. A big disappointment. The sushi was incredibly bland, the rice wasn't cooked properly, the sushi was not that well made (almost all of it fell apart) and the handroll wasn't filled properly.
The extra bean curd nigiri I ordered was very small.
All in all, the meal wasn't worth the price and I won't be ordering from this place again.
