This park is a great skate park with smooth concrete and jungle gyms for kids 8+ years old. Cool graffiti and well maintained grass to sit and have a braai or play soccer.

Not in the best area and have to jump a fence into the park! Having said that all the skaters are friendly there and once inside you feel safer! Very busy though

I love this wide open green community space right in Westdene! It's great seeing many youngsters using the skate park, people walking their dogs early morning or evening on the well kept lawns, or those just taking a relaxed sunset stroll after work. Most special of all - this is a community space where you'll find initiatives like hip-hop classes for kids, graffiti artworks and people from all walks of life coming together to enjoy the outdoors.

Best Park to go have a picnic or just chill or Rollerblades skateboarding... play are for kids . Nice big playing place . Will definitely recommend to someone who wants to relax. Only thing that they can put there are bathrooms.

The skate park isn't the best, but it's better than nothing. I wouldn't suggest going alone and bringing lots of valuables, go with friends and have a good time. There's also space to play soccer or throw a Frisbee or whatever in the same park

Recently revamped as part of the corridors of freedom project together with the Westdene dam upgrade project.

Unfortunately the contractor ran off before completing the project 100%

Is being overgrown at the moment.
Not sure if city parks is doing the maintenance or money ran out again.

Vandals have already stolen parts of the locks and there busy removing the fence brackets.

"Kids" play equipment is for 6 and up only.
It's constructed with wire rope mesh design.

Awesome park for skateboarders, cool obstacles and transition.
Nice open areas to have a picnic or to walk the dogs or kids.
