The equipment is extremely old. It was the exact same equipment when I used to gym there in high school 11 years ago and everything is in the exact same place.

When the power goes out the gym is closed.
Like free weights run on electricity. There should at least be back up lights in the gym for this. The weights themselves are old and falling apart. Some of them are mislabelled by their weight.
Equipment has been out of order since I joined the gym over a month ago.
The one minute cycle buzzer no longer works. And the clocks are often incorrect. It’s extremely far below what virgin actives standards should be especially for the price if it per month. If you can go to a different gym I’d recommend doing that until this one is fixed.

The people that go here and the people take care of the place have low standards.

If you go here expect equipment to be worn, not put away and not kept to a high standard.

If your standards are not high and you just want a place to work out, you can try it but if you want to enjoy most workouts then I would suggest you look elsewhere.

The staff is amazing, friendly, helpful and provide great service. Our group classes instructors are the best. The only problem is we have old equipment. You go to other branches like New Market, Eastgate Mall and Bedfordview you notice a big difference.

The club has a nice vibe to it. Friendly staff, clean and well-maintained equipment as well racial diversity. It is right next to a lake, which is quite convenient should you wish to take a walk or have a quick picnic lunch. The lake is currently closed due to lockdown level 3 regulations though.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Gym is always clean and not too busy unless you go at very peak times. Some equipment is old but all well maintained, great place to workout
