Equipment takes too long to be repaired.
Not much space and can get crowded quickly.

Staff are kind and friendly.

Edit: After visiting some other VAs in the area, I have to admit that this VA is of much higher quality in terms of equipment condition and variety of equipment.
Increasing to a 4 star.

The Weight training area is small compared to other gyms, house keeping is very bad with weights and attachments laying around everywhere, no staff in sight and rules not enforced, everyone just leaves their dumbbells and weights laying around or on the bars, staff is lazy and manager not bothered. Zee was supposed to assist me to sign up and never resolved my enquiry, virgin active has the worst customer service!

The gym is clean, equipment is well-kept and staff is friendly and welcoming. The clientele is diverse. There is a kiddies area. All in all, the club has a lovely atmosphere.

The service needs a bit of improvement especially regarding the care for children It just comes across as of no one really wants to go to the side where the kids go whilst the parent(s) workout.

We pay for the kids to be taken care of that side so I expect good service I don't want to be made like I'm irritating someone because I'm coming to the gym with a child.

Nice gym when quiet, during busy hours, there just isn't enough space.

I think its unacceptable that this gym does not have portable lights in case of load shedding, the changing rooms and showers are completely dark when there is no electricity. So why aren't they putting up portable lights, why aren't the lights always fully charged since we have load shedding so regularly?

This gym is fire I tell you. The staff is friendly, the equipment is updated, changing area is clean and spacey. What's unfortunate is I can't afford the required amount, but I think it's worth every cent.
