After being dropped by a local Bothners branch, who said they would source an item I wanted from Cape Town, I called the Kimberley branch on a long shot having family in the area to maybe pick the item up.
What a pleasant surprise. I was helped by Conway who within 10 minutes of my call confirmed that the item was sourced and booked from Cape Town. Within a week Conway got the item from Cape Town , tested it, then forwarded it to me at a better price than what my local branch quoted me. That is service in trying times.....someone who goes out of his way to make things happen. I hope this is noted by our own branch who could not do the same.

Service is pathetic and the staff is not helpful at all. And this is not from a once-off visit, but multiple attempts to do business. It is so bad that my institution is going to a different CITY to get our musical repairs done and needs met. I guess this is what happens when a place has no competition in the same town.

The staff is not very helpful. You actually have to know what you want to buy to go in there. There is no initiative to ask questions or enquire to help assist better. I'm rather disappointed. I'll rather get what I want on-line.
